With no wind forecast for today I was not holding out much hope of a sail :( but the tree in the garden was moving well mid afternoon :) So after the school run I took the gear to the Dip to see Andy Mexome out with 7m on his short board but with the wind dropping and wanting to try his new XR Race 9.5 on his raceboard ,I followed suit and rigged the 9.4 and took out my cat.The wind had gone pretty light and the beat was okay but the reaches were slow even if Andy was going much better on his new Starboard Raceboard !!! We followed each other around for abit until I got fed up with Andy sailing faster so I had a trip up to Felixstowe FSC and then had some good reaches and beats in Bawdsey bay where I met the seal again !!! Then the wind filled in and I had some good reaches to the peir and the beat back was good with the 20 mph winds and choppy high tide sea making it good fun.One last trip up the Deben and a couple of flat out reaches back to The Dip to find David Coles just packing his Formula kit away.So a good two and a half hours out and more wind for the next couple of days :)
